What is executive coaching?

Coaches partner with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Executive coaching is done at the CEO, President, founder or senior leadership level of the organization.

Coaching is a way of working with people that leaves them more competent and more fulfilled so that they are more able to contribute to their organizations and find meaning in what they are doing.

What coaching is not

The coaching process does not include advising or counselling but focuses instead on the individual or group to reach their own objectives.

How does it work?

An executive coach is a qualified professional who works with individuals (usually executives, but often high-potential leaders) to help them:

  1. 1Gain self-awareness
  2. 2Clarify goals
  3. 3Achieve their development objectives
  4. 4Unlock their potential
  5. 5Act as a sounding board

This is done in one-to-one confidential meetings with the coach and coachee.
